Song of the Day...
So I feel like showing a bit of my romantic side... yeah, yeah... Carmel actually has a romantic side, so if you're going to make some comments about it, well... BITE ME.
Never in any other relationship I've had before have I been serenaded. I honestly can't listen to some songs in the same way again without the thought of having it sung to me. Anyway, this is a tribute to serenades, music, and of course -l'amour.
"Come What May" from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack sung by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGreggor.
Male Voice:
Never knew I could feel like this, like I've never seen the sky before.
Want to vanish inside your kiss. Every day I love you more and more.
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing?
Telling me to give you everything.
Seasons may change, winter to spring, but I love you, until the end of time.
Come what may. Come what may.
I will love you, until my dying day.
Female voice:
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place.
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace.
Both:
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste.
Female voice:
It all revolves around you.
Both:
And there's no mountain too high, no river too wide.
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side.
Storm clouds may gather, stars may collide...
Male voice:
But I love you.
Female voice (Echo):
I love you.
Male voice:
Until the end...
Female voice (Echo):
Until the end...
Both:
...of time.
Come what may. Come what may.
I will love you until my dying day.
Oh, come what may. Come what may.
I will love you.
Female voice:
I will love you.
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place.
Both:
Come what may. Come what may. I will love you until my dying day.

Good song. You should collect yourself a singing partner and try it for karaoke sometimes. I have and it's a real tough one to do well.
It is a lovely song. I do technically have a singing partner to do it with. He loves to sing too. We just never actually sang the song for karaoke.
Try it sometime. There's nothing quite like (at least in my opinion) singing a tough song in front of a large crowd and absolutely nailing it. Music in general (especially singing, guitar and piano) is one of the greatest loves of my life. I used to hate to sing in front of a crowd but started forcing myself to do it so I could get rid of stage fright. To my surprise I found that, as I became more and more comfortable onstage, I was simultaneously developing a strong emotional bond with singing. Who knew?
