So far 18 of the 50 States down. My goal is of course to hit all 50 in this lifetime... but anyway...
(States I've gone to in chronological order.)

1. Hawaii
2. California
3. Nevada
4. Arizona
5. New Jersey
6. New York
7. Pennsylvania
8. Delaware
9. Maryland
10. Virginia
11. New Mexico
12. Colorado
13. Utah
14. Texas
15. Louisiana
16. Mississippi
17. Washington
18. Indiana

Come October 27, which is in like a month's time... I will soon be adding TWO more states to the list.

19. Ohio
20. West Virginia

I can't wait... ;-)

Happy 10th Birthday, Eugenie!!!

Awww... my adorable little niece is now in the double digits... She's the big "10"...

From a cute little baby to a tiny brat who likes to climb trees like monkeys...

...sigh, they grow up so fast.

P.S. Yes, i know it's still technically the 27th... but I'm preparing for the 28th so she can see this in the morning.

P.P.S. Yes, I also know this is cruel and unusual... but it's done with love. I promise. ::Crosses her heart:: I had no intent to embarrass my niece in anyway shape or form. Can't you see the halo on top of my innocent head?

P.P.P.S. Isn't this an unusually colorful array for my blog? I'm not sure if I like the change.... but it's different.

Statistically Abnormal...

Here's a simple equation...

How many weeks are in a quarter at UCi?

Answer -> 10

Good. You're keeping up.

How many assignments are given in a Statistics class per week in a quarter at UCi?

Answer -> 1

Okay, sounds fair.

How many assignments does that make it per quarter?

Answer -> 10

Wow, you know your math.

Then, why does the syllabus say one assignment per week during the quarter, but there are 14 homework assignments???

It honestly took the class 15 minutes to ask questions of this nature, before the professor realized he made a simple mathematical error. Fifteen minutes for the man to realize that 10 does NOT equal 14.

It truly worries me, when I find myself in a college class, supposedly expanding my horizons, broadening my mind, and I'm getting taught Statistics by a person who can't count to 14.

I said, "Yes, I will."

Yes, I wasn't expecting it at all.
Yes, I didn't think it would happen so soon.
Yes, I was shocked speechless -a rarity in itself.
Yes, my heart was racing.
Yes, I couldn't believe it.
Yes, I was given the surprise of my life.
And yes. I said, "Yes, I will."

Song of the Day...

So I feel like showing a bit of my romantic side... yeah, yeah... Carmel actually has a romantic side, so if you're going to make some comments about it, well... BITE ME.

Never in any other relationship I've had before have I been serenaded. I honestly can't listen to some songs in the same way again without the thought of having it sung to me. Anyway, this is a tribute to serenades, music, and of course -l'amour.

"Come What May" from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack sung by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGreggor.

Male Voice:
Never knew I could feel like this, like I've never seen the sky before.
Want to vanish inside your kiss. Every day I love you more and more.
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing?
Telling me to give you everything.
Seasons may change, winter to spring, but I love you, until the end of time.
Come what may. Come what may.
I will love you, until my dying day.

Female voice:

Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place.
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace.

Both:

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste.

Female voice:
It all revolves around you.

Both:

And there's no mountain too high, no river too wide.
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side.
Storm clouds may gather, stars may collide...

Male voice:

But I love you.

Female voice (Echo):

I love you.

Male voice:

Until the end...

Female voice (Echo):

Until the end...

Both:
...of time.
Come what may. Come what may.
I will love you until my dying day.
Oh, come what may. Come what may.
I will love you.

Female voice:

I will love you.
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place.

Both:

Come what may. Come what may. I will love you until my dying day.
